More to come…
I have been rigorously trained in Hindustani Classical music right from when I was 5 years old. The daily two-hour reyaz (a specific drill that helps increase vocal capabilities), at that tender age, seemed like an absolute bane, but I am grateful to my mother, who pushed me to keep on practicing for more than a decade. It is now that I realize the kind of gift it is—food for my soul, a channel to express my creativity, and a means to lift my spirits when I am down. Music has given me an identity, an opportunity to mix with a multitude of talented people, and memories to cherish forever—like all those intense stage performances where I had to struggle to maintain a standing note due to the adrenaline rushing through my veins. I am nothing but grateful that I had the privilege to nurture the music inside me.
P.S. I do not really record much, but here are the few reels I dared to post publicly…
